When we’re younger, we always have a dream job, place, house, even a life time partner.
And as we grow older, matured wisely, nagbabago na ang lahat. Our dream swiftly changes or set aside our priority list because we have to face “adulting issues”.
None in our school professors or guidance counselors said that “adulting” sucks! Admit or not, we just want to go back to our childhood where we can just play, ask our parents to give us allowances, go to school and don’t mind stuff like going to work, of course – BILLS, household chores, errands and a lot more.
We’re busy planning our future, where to live, and what kind of career to take, providing for the family, for our children, supporting our siblings in their education and a list went on.
In Philippine culture (mostly), family always comes first. I know there are pros and cons to the priority of Filipinos, we hear yah! Loud and clear! But no matter how hard we try not to fully support our family, there are times our soft hearted emotions gave in.
Yes, that’s how we roll! No matter how hard the family went or go through, we keep our family ties together – INTACT! and seems nothing so difficult is happening within. WE ARE FAMILY.
As a breadwinner and mainly the provider of the family, maraming kailangan isakripisyo si Ate at Kuya.
It is worth the wait!
God knows you are doing your best. He sees you every night in your bed, crying, sobbing questioning life when all your problems, sacrifices will be over. Graduate na si bunso akala mo tapos na pero wait there’s more!
Psalm 56:8 “Tears are prayers too. They travel to God when they can’t speak.”
God hears you!
He listens to your prayer every day.
He makes a way every time you fall off short financially.
He gave you the right people to help you get through.
He uses these people to let you know that he is with you on this difficult life.
Kaya you are doing your best to make all your goals and dreams into reality.
Hindi lang si Mr. and Ms. Right ang kailangan nating matiyagang hintayin dahil bawat pangarap matutupad. Tiwala lang!
My dreams are slowly coming into reality – I will tell you what those are but not today! 😀
Like they said I am not where I am supposed to be but I am glad I am not where I used to be.
Trust me everything you’ve been going through right now will soon be over. Waiting is worth it!
If I didn’t said “Yes” to him that night I do not know where I am right now. My life changes since then.
Ate, Kuya – huwag kang bibitaw. Be Patient! Laban lang.
